How WE love this kid

Yesterday Warren had and MRI to check the size of the tumor on his brain. Primary children does and awesome job with kids. A child specialist came in with a doll in a spider man medical gown and started to explain to Warren the precidure and what was going to happen. She had him put an IV in the doll and play doctor. Warren loved it he has always had a thing about doctors and loves them. Dr. Glade is said in his prayers all the time. Warren put the IV in and injected color water into the doll. He was having a hay day. The nurse came in and told us that they were going to put and IV in his hand and get ready for the MRI. They told us that they would have one of us hold him and tow nurses would insert the IV. We told them not to worrry he is tuff and has no problem with needles. They said o.k. but be ready to hold him. They totally did not believe us. When they came in to insert the IV they asked Warren which parent he wanted to sit on and he told them neither he just wanted to sit on the bed. The nurses were nervous but said o.k and looked nervous. When they started Warren just sat and watched the needle go in and was totally in awe. The nurses finished and kepy saying wow he never even flinched. They just couldn't beleive a five year old could do that. The child specialist before leaving gave Warren a little baggy with docotor stuff and he replied cool now I can suck Haus's blood. They gave Warren some medicine to fall asleepand he faught it till the last minute. He was in the MRI for about 40 minutes and then he came to recovery for about 20 and then we left for home. We were nervous until today when we heard the results the came back saying Warren's tumor had shrunk by 2mm and that it was stable. GREAT!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Dr. Bell thinks we wont have to check it for a year..YEA!!!!!!!!! Warren is a great son and brings alot of happiness and laughter to our family we are blessed to be his parents.

Job/Good Chart

I have this and everytime they do something awesome we give them a sticker. Its been going on for about 3 months and they finally filled it. So we told them they could pick a restaurant they wanted to go to, go to Toy Store and pick a toy they can share together.

Warren informed us that he has ALWAYS wanted to go to the place thats purple and has a turtle on it. So we took them to Purple Turtle. I have to say I love that place. Then they picked moon sand and played with it on the kitchen table until I realized how messy it is. So I had them go to the basement and then they brought down a whole bucket of little trucks and cars. Im proud of you boys!!

Warren has always loved bathing. When he was one to two he would get 2-3 baths a day because its the only time he would stop going. Haus on the other hand loves them when he is in there but HATES them before. Its a chore to put this kid in the bath.

Gymnastics

I signed the boys up at the rec. We have only went once but they love it and we love watching them. Warren is such a great kid and awesome at listening. Its crazy because at home he never never stops talking but Im pretty sure he didnt say one thing in class. Haus is like chill at home but he gets with other people and he loves attention and let me tell ya everyone gives him tons of it. He was jabbering the whole time to his teacher.

Grandma over for dinner

My mom came over for Sunday dinner and the boys couldnt get enough of her. Other than Haus was putting on chap stick as fast as he could. He is so funny!!

Potty Training..... Not so much

Santa brought Haus underwear. Haus made it clear that he would put them on but "me not pee or poop in toilet"

Happy New Year YEA 2011

We had a great New Years Eve we went sledding up above the water thing in PG and the kids loved it. I love sledding and I love even more how much my kids love it. Then later that night we went to my moms and played games and ate yummy treats. Then we stopped at our friends the Blackshurst they were having a way fun party. Jocelyn had put together the game "One Minute to Win it". We left way early to put our kiddos to bed. Jackson and I just played games and then went to bed.

Haus was being funny he would go down any hill. The last run these two did was awesome Jackson hicked up three little hills and I tell ya they came flying down the mountain. Haus was laughing all the way down.

Warren has no fear anywhere I told him to go down he would it was awesome.

At least every day Jackson and the boys go up to the playroom and load every nerf gun. Shoot everything, sometimes its all of the animals of the stairwall, Jacksons the hunter and the boys are the animals, set up target practice the list could go on. Im about 100% sure Jackson has just as much fun as the boys.
